El Tambo School | Rivas, Nicaragua

El Tambo school is a school for children from pre-school thru 6th grade in El Tambo, Nicaragua. The school enrolls 60 students in this incredible rural, farming town. This will be our 4th year working at this school and it is bursting with love and joy everyday! This is our shortest trip, at only 9 days total and will take place over spring break 2026. If we have enough interest, we may possibly add a second trip in June.

We will be getting creative and teaching one on one with students, assisting teachers in their classrooms, supporting students, and riding along to conduct home visits. These kids and their families will change your perspective on struggle, family and community. We will be gathering and delivering food, medical supplies, and school supplies to these vulnerable children living in poverty. You will absolutely love this community!
